Dragonboat races

Today we did the Draonboat races with peaseblossom's mom and our friends M, J and B. J is the boy's age and they are very good friends. A good, but hot, time was had by all.

We're currently lying around the house in various states on undress. The starchild is napping and everyone else is rather tired. I don't expect a very exciting night today.

The boy just asked for supper, don't understand why he's hungry I feel like we've been eating all day. Maybe its the heat.

peaseblossom and I were discussing a poetry reading club. Everyone choose a poem for the next session and everyone read's it and then we discuss it. I'm thinking this might be a very good idea.

Strangely heat does the opposite for me - it usually drops my appetite to almost nothing.... until I get all dizzy from lack of blood sugar and remember I haven't eaten.
