First, the forum at RPG.net should be called the Exalted forum. Geesh.

Second, I'm looking for cool personalities and tidbits for the 1930s New York era for Tantaene Animis Caelestibus Irae.

Third, I very much want to run a one-shot where the players are human having to deal with the horror that is the Nephilim in Tantaene. My player characters are not nice. Though they do seem to be on the side of creation. So far.

Whoa. That opens up a whole world of one-shots: games where the characters are ordinary people having to deal with the shit brought about by the characters from other games we've already played.

Only counting games I've played in, this would work for:

Pantellos
Unknown USA
Hermopolis Magna
Age of Paranoia
all the Nobilises
Charnel Gods
Kill Puppies
Airportation

...actually, that list isn't half complete. It's easier to just make a list of all the games where this wouldn't work:

Dungeon Majesty.

Hrm, what does it say that half+ of that list is my games...actually that list has everything I've run in the last 5 years.

Because I've got him on the brain...

Dr. Hugo Eckener and the Graf Zeppelin made many famous flights into Lakehurst and always stopped by New York for a bit of a show. Tell me the Nephilim who isn't interested in the mysterious floating vehicle.

rpg.net only ever discusses 4 things: 1) porn 2) Firefly 3) Exalted and 4) City of Heroes. They could rename Tangency, Tangency Other Media, Open and Other Games Open to those categories and nobody would notice.

The 30s. I assume you've read Frederick Allen's "Since Yesterday"? That probably has all kinds of foder you could use and you can read it in about an hour.

Yeah that's about all they discuss over there anymore it seems. Heck I haven't been there in quite a while actually. Last few times I couldn't even find a topic that I felt like contributing to.
