Starchildren and me

So many cool things have been written for the forthcoming Starchildren game that I had to make it its own memory just to keep track!

For once in my life I'm feeling rather intimidated as a gamer, is going to be a big stretch for me. I'm not even sure where to begin with my character!

Espionage Game Progression

I'm almost ready to make a call for players on this one. I should provide a first draft of rules by tomorrow to be torn apart by the world. And as soon as I do that I'm ready to start talking days and who. Heck, I'm ready to talk that now.

Wonder if I can get away with using the Pantellos mailng list or I should create a new yahoogroup. Oh easy to use yahoogroups, I forgive so much from thee.

Also need to figure out seedwiki as a wiki is going to be key for this game.

Shadows in the Fog has a great little element to its character creation called “Strike it from the Record” which I shall be stealing wholesale.

Strike it From the Record!

During the Group Creation session, you may at any time “strike it from the record.” This happens when 1) you realize that you’ve said something or described something incorrectly, i.e. you have told people something that is not true; or (2) you change your mind about some aspect of the character. If you blurt out your deepest secrets, you should not try to strike them from the record — live with it. But if you were thinking that your character went to Harrow, and you find yourself developing a cool background story with another PC who went to Eton, you may “strike” Harrow and replace it with Eton. The other players should act as juries are supposed to act, and actually forget that the original statements were made.

Lexicon Update

Halfway through JKL (due today) and we are out of phantom entries. Should be interesting to see how things go from here.

I'm unhappy with my entry Lebenszeit Putsch but it will do.
