I'm at a difficult/boring stage of my recovery process. I feel fine (very little pain, scale of 1 to 10, it hovers around a 1 spikes to 2 occasionally), but I can't do much. I can't put weight on my left leg. My right leg needs to be in the aircast to have weight on it. Thus I have no balance. And if I don't put my left leg up regularly (and stretch it) it starts to swell like crazy (the left) and start to ache. Even the right ankle can start to really get sore if I don't do my stretching exercises regularly.

And I can't do anything which causes problems around the house. Well I can d a few things. I can st on the stool and do dishes, if someone brings me dishes and does all the drying. But its a start.

The starchild has more mobility than I do. She likes to race me places. She usually wins.

I find myself really looking forward to getting out of the house regularly. Even work seems inviting. Though I'm rather worried what it will be like. It will almost be like starting a new job. Under my std I'm not supposed to do work, so I've been avoidng my work email. So I have no clue whats going on there. It is all a black box. Though I do owe a few folks phone calls.

We haven't been out of the house for a few days, so maybe we can get out today. Though it will probably involve grocery shopping, always fun my tagging after [livejournal.com profile] peaseblossom in the wheel-chair. Blah.

Anyone reading Grant Morrison's Vimanarama that would care to comment on it?
