A Princess of Roumania
Aug. 2nd, 2005 03:27 pmI'm about half-way through Paul aprk's latest novel A Princess of Roumania and its beautiful. Ursula Le Guin compared him to John Crowley and I'd definitely put him in the same camp. This is probably the ebst example in the person-drawn-to-another-world-which-is-their-home (and maybe more real) book I've ever read. And anyone who knows anything about fantasy knows its a pretty big sub-genre.
Way better than Stross's attempt at the subgenre.
I'll probably finish this tonight and then I can discuss it more.
