Salon has recommend Tim Power's Strange Itineraries as one of their best of fall reads. While I disagree wth the philistine for trashing the novels its great to see Powers get the atention he deserves.

I also liked the fact that the recommendations had more than one genre book. Neil Gaiman got the nod too.

Three Days to Never, and if someone loved me they'd butyme the limited edition so I don't have to wait for the hardcover edition to be released.

From ancient prophesies about Israel to the secret lives of Charlie Chaplin and Albert Einstein, this breathtaking novel throws a suburban father and daughter into the midst of an ancient supernatural battle.
