I need to get some of that new Doctor Who

Cause anything that sparks the return of a K9 tv show makes me happy. Ah, how I remember the 1981 show. And it has the original actress for Sarah Jane. Oh and some guy called Anthony Head (which appears to be in the Dr Who episode that will have k9 in it).

Disagreeing agreeably

ozarque just posted a sumamry of a bunch of the things she's written about How to disagree online without being disagreeable.... For those of you who don't read her Ms Elgin is an amazing SF writer who also just happens to be a linguist who has written extensively about communication.

Stuff here that is a good refresher and that I should remember more often.
