I'm looking over some resurrected files from a past campaign, seeng if anything can be reused, and frankly, I scare myself. Footnotes, this stuff has footnotes (its pretty good stuff on theosophy on 19th century America though).

Lots of good stuff on Central Asia here too, definitely wrote this stuff after reading The Magic Circle.

Back before email, I regularly (as in most letters of any length) wrote personal and even romantic letters with footnotes. Tis the legacy of old-style academic graduate study.

I've not heard of The Magic Circle, but I am most fascinated by Central Asia. Please tell me of this book.

Its a book by Katherine Neville, author of The Eight. Its a little moe new agey but stll fun. Involves World War II secrets, and Christ, and Central Asia, and nukes in large supply, and sex magic. Its fun and borderline trashy and I loved it when I first read it.

I really wonder why I got out of the habit. Maybe corporate America.
