[livejournal.com profile] peaseblossom did an excellent session summary (here and here) which covers quite well what happened in the second session, and the first session where roleplaying happened rather than character creation.

I'm really wishing I could get the players to do this every week, as frankly every other week just doesn't seem enough. I have a good group thats really getting the idea of the game, and from last night's session I think will handle magic in very cool ways. Its all about the description and putting the pieces together.

This session took a little warm-up time, but once it got going it went real well. One thin I'm going to have to struggle with is keeping the past life sessions down to 1-2, I already want to do some serious play in ancient India, and if I did we'd never end up at the mdoern day.

Lexicon of Untold Ages proceeds well. Theres a little lag but its frankly worth it for the quality of writing. Theres a nice magical geography current going on that I am definitely going to have fun with in te game. Ad like the Golden Fleece/Grail thing thats developing. And the whole Dionysic/Crazy Sex motif is good too.

Can I ask, is Tantaene instended to be a limited-run campaign, just going through the five incarnations? Or will it continue as a full-run in the modernish world? I was just curious ... and it sounds like the play is meeting the preparation. Congrats!

The intent is to use the five previous incarnations as a build up for the majority of play that will happn in the modern era.
