I’ve now read all of the JSA tpbs up to Black Reign -- if there is anymore after that my library doesn’t have them. I must admit I’ve enjoyed them, with their attention to legacy and folks struggling to do what ‘s best. Plus the title has the level of time travel and magic that I like in my superhero comics. Big and grand that’s the way I like them.

So what else out in tpb land am I going to like? I am still on a comic book kick it seems.

There's 1 more that just came out. I don't have it yet or I'd let you borrow it.

Sadly, the more of Geoff Johns's stuff I read, the less I like it. He always seems to devolve into formula (Present trojan horse badguy. split team - across time if possible. Reveal real, much bigger badder alliance of multiple baddies. Astonishing and poorly defined application of hero power saves day/reunites team). It seems to be more about the sense of wonder and less about the characters. But if you liked JSA you will probably like the JLA/JSA teamup book "Virtue and Vice" (sadly, I just sold off my copy) and probably Johns's Flash tpbs (haven't read them, but they're on my list to get).

I assume you've already read Moore's Supreme (which for me is the best there is).

"Invincible" is supposed to be good and has some legacy type stuff. The new Teen Titans and Outsiders series are supposed to be good too but I haven't read them either.

I'm actually trying to remember the last tpb I bought that I actually liked, and drawing a blank. That's not good. Probably Daredevil, but that's not very superheroey lately and you'd probably hate it.

I think with Geoff Johns I'm reaching the point of saturation, there seems tobe fewer and fewer new things in each arch. He repeats himself a lot.

There's Seaguy or WE3, if you're into Grant Morrison.

http://www.dccomics.com/features/grant_morrison/intro.html gives you the skinny. It's an interesting book.
