Mel Gibson doing a movie in ancient Mayan? because if it is it is pure, unadulterated genius. And if its not its probably a movie I'll be lining up to see on opening day.

I was surprised to see Ron Howard doing a film about Cortez and another film which seems to be some odd ball thing about Aztec ball-playing. Seems a little weird on Hollywood's prt.

But a movie in Mayan? Thats just weird.

If it's a joke it's very wide-spread. Everyone has it - Variety, Hollywood News, you name it and they've reported on it. And yet, IMDB has never heard of it.

Today it was even on CNN.com. They get stuff wrong sometimes, but I'm starting to think this may be for real.
