Its time to get the next game up and running for the tantaene group. I wrote about some of this a while back on 20x20. Right now I have three game concepts:

I really like all three concepts and 'd be happy to play any of them. I'm hoping my players like one!

I am so down for Alexander's March, I'm strapping on my Hoplite armor even as we speak. Totally the best thing ever.

Jere,

These all look great! I have to say, I'm leaning towards Alexander's march... I've been excited about that idea since it first came up months ago :) In fact, I've being dying to play a full-blown game set in the classical period since we did the macedonian incarnation in tantaene.

If there's room, add me to any list. I'm interested in seeing you in action.

I'm intrigued by the space opera and the pulp ones. What systems are you thinking?

And of course, my interest always come with the usual disclaimers about availability, read by a very fast voice over at the end... but hey, I think I'm a better gamer than a sugar pill! ;)

I don't like to think of system until I have players identified these days. Its my whole gaming as process philosophy guaranteed to confuse everyone but me!

I can see the process philo. you've got cooked up working for the themes and tropes, and to even help guide the development of a kitbashed homebrew like you now realize you should have attempted with tantaene.

But I'd recommend if you at all plan on going with an off-the-shelf system, I think you may want to peg that down early, because it'll influence people's interest (at least it would mine).

All three sound quite interesting, and I'd love to play in any of them, though I wasn't sure if this was a call for more players or a statement of ideas or what...

If I were required to rank I would do:

1. Pulp & Greek Myth - Dig out that old copy of HyperMyth!
2. Space Pirates - Brush up on my honorable and efficient yet not all that smart pirate rogue
3. Alexander's March - I think this would extend my capabilities the most, so I think I'd gian much from it, but it would take more effort.

So is there a waiting list?
