I agree about the Showcases. Haunted Tank is next on my list just because it's so completely, unapologetically out there. And they're priced just right for what I'm getting. Same thing with Marvel's "Essential" series.

I also agree about the new series thing. Even the new stuff I'm enjoying uses characters I'm familiar with from the past. I guess I'm becoming a "Classic Rock" comics reader.
