[livejournal.com profile] peaseblossom read this Boston Globe editorial this weekend and went on her spring war path about trimming down the book collection. Since I always loose these battles after a great deal of anger and hurt feelings on both sides I pretty much went along with it this time.

So we trimmed down the SF hardcovers big time, knocked out a chunk of the comic tpbs/graphic novels, and trimmed back the nonfiction and literature sections. Probably got rid of a bookcase worth of books. Which meant I dropped nine bags of books off at the library, I have 4 bags of books aimed for a quality sued bookstore (when I get time), a few bags of books for Pandemonium, and if I can find a place that takes them a stack of graphic tpbs.

I hates it. I hates it when they steal me precious….

Okay, that meme which goes sort of like Step 1 is something outrageous, step 2 is blank and step 3 is profit or world domination or whatever...

Well thats how I feel at work today. I'm writing the Project Overview Statement for something here at work and I right now have 3 deliverables

1. User Requirements and Technology Selection
2. Implementation and Validation
3. Rollout

Its that step 2 which is the doozy.

By the way, anyone who has computer system validation or pharmaceutical valdiation experience and needs/desires a job in Boston should let me know. Especially if you are manager (especially if you are manager level) level, we have a few depserate reqs open.

Tomorrow I think everyone interested in my spy game will actually be in one place to discuss it. Which is always a good sign!
