What a weekend
Apr. 20th, 2004 12:17 pmThis weekend was the weekend of the Zoo, and running. And lots of sun.
Saturday we went to Riger Williams Zoo down in Providence with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
peaseblossom's mom and stayed the whole day. Roger Williams has spent a lot of money recently (lots of signs of corproate donations) and it show. They have some very nice exhibits and its a good experience. Though I kind of wish that when we got togetehr with my mother-in-law it didn't end up being an all-day affair. I love her, but sometiems I'd like to do smaller blocks of time.
Sunday we went to Stone Zoo with the boy's library-playmate-bestfriend. Great time was had by all. Stone Zoo has come a long way over the last few years, and we want into Michelle, who now works there. Stone is small, but its really the perfect size for a nice 2 hour visit.
Than Monday we went to Wellsley to the half-way point and watched the Marathon. And watched, and watched and watched. It was pretty fun, laid back and pretty family orientated. In the past we've always tried to do Boston, which is full of drunken louts on Marathon day. I'd probably do it again.
And this morning at work has been insane. Meetings, meetings, meetings. ith lots of attendant expectations being laid on me. WooHoo....
