Weekend plans

jeregenestWell I finally got my laptop to work with the DSL. Or I should say a very nice and patient Verizon customer support person from Texas (wow I just said something nice about Texas) walked me through the process till it worked. I had the opportunity because I stayed home sick yesterday, I felt like a total wreck.
Today I have no plans really, just hanging around with the kids. Anyone want to do anything should give me a call. I was thinking of going to the town pond, which opens today, but the weather just doesn't seem conducive for that.
Tomorrow at 5 am I bring Jess to the train station so that she can go to New York for a very cool food and wine expo. I'm a little intimidate aout being home with the kids for two days but it should go fine. Its not like I haven't done one day before, so I can handle two days with both of them. Plenty of milk in the freezer. Poor Jess probably feels a little abused for all that.
I'll probably get together with my dad Sunday, but he can't handle more than a few hours before he needs to get away. One of the joys of being a grand dad I'm sure. So, if anyone wants to come over Sunday night and keep me company that would be cool.
Monday I took off from work. Easiest with Jess not coming back till late evening. Maybe we'll do a museum.
