Weekend plans

Well I finally got my laptop to work with the DSL. Or I should say a very nice and patient Verizon customer support person from Texas (wow I just said something nice about Texas) walked me through the process till it worked. I had the opportunity because I stayed home sick yesterday, I felt like a total wreck.

Today I have no plans really, just hanging around with the kids. Anyone want to do anything should give me a call. I was thinking of going to the town pond, which opens today, but the weather just doesn't seem conducive for that.

Tomorrow at 5 am I bring Jess to the train station so that she can go to New York for a very cool food and wine expo. I'm a little intimidate aout being home with the kids for two days but it should go fine. Its not like I haven't done one day before, so I can handle two days with both of them. Plenty of milk in the freezer. Poor Jess probably feels a little abused for all that.

I'll probably get together with my dad Sunday, but he can't handle more than a few hours before he needs to get away. One of the joys of being a grand dad I'm sure. So, if anyone wants to come over Sunday night and keep me company that would be cool.

Monday I took off from work. Easiest with Jess not coming back till late evening. Maybe we'll do a museum.

My offer of letting you guys borrow our computer for however long you may need still stands. We got our new system last week, so I'm in the process of taking the old one down. Just say the word and give me 24 hours to purge it if my Bionic Bigfoot (http://www.bugeyedmonster.com/toys/smdm/bionicbigfoot.shtml)/Lobot (http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/lobot/?id=eu) slashfic collection and it's yours. We're going to end up donating it, and whether we do so this week or in six months makes little difference to us, especially if it will help a friend out.

I'm not to sure whats going on with our computer. Jess's dad took it, called back to say it was the motherboard and then said something about having it fixed. But I didn't get all the details.
