peaseblossom’s and my 3rd Anniversary (yes the boy is 4, we took a while to get around to the ceremony).And every day has been wonderful, even the ones where we fight terribly and things are stormy, because every day I know that she’ll be there tomorrow and that I’ll still love her. I’m not the most poetic, nor the most eloquent, and I sometimes think it comes across like I take her for granted, but I don’t. I treasure each precious moment of her in my life, and I hope with all my heart to continue treasuring those moments for the rest of my life.
Neither of our parents relationships worked out. And in my case I don’t have the best of examples on how a relationship is supposed to work, but withpeaseblossom I feel like we can figure this out, and we are. We’ve been through a lot of bad things, because frankly I’m not all that angelic, especially with my past. And we’ve survived. We’ve done more than survive, we’ve blossomed. And for that I’m ever so grateful.
So this post is just a short way for me to say in public some of the things I try to let her know every day.
Happy anniversary beloved. And the new year is promising to be even better than those before.
