Great... Bush may have Alzheimer's. Can't decide if thats a strum for sympathy or not, have to wait and see if this gets national coverage.

It's a goddamn balloon being floated by Rove before the debates- if Kerry rips him to shreds, 'Oh, you're picking on a poor sick man' and if Bush holds his own it's another 'heroic' moment like throwing the goddamn first pitch at the World Series...

If he's that "sick" should he be running for a second term? I mean, this is the presidency, not the Special Olympics here!

I heard clips of Bush vs. Richards on NPR and did think wow, he's gone downhill since getting elected, but accepting a diagnosis from a guy who's never met, much less examined, him is downright goofy.

Of course, if it did happen to be true, I can almost picture the Republicans deliberately running people with Alzheimer's, because they obviously make great statesmen. Aspiring first-term congressmen and ambitious lieutenant governors getting beta amyloid injected directly into their brains to improve their chances at the white house...

Both W & Reagan, hmm, at this point, I've got to wonder if there is some correlation between being a conservative Republican president and having Alzheimers.
