[livejournal.com profile] jadasc has put out the call for Arisia Gaming. And as those who care about my curmudegonly ways know I have not had the best of thoughts for Arisia in recent years. I all stems from that time I showed up with three 4 hour games prepare (Unknown Armeis, Ars Magica and Nobilis) and was told I'd have to pay for my membership if I wanted to get in. Which I then proceeded to throw a tiny fit and left.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you want me to provide program you give me the same consideration you give any panelist. Especially since I'm doing 5-10x the work of an average panelist. And Arisia panels tend to be horrible.

Now I trust [livejournal.com profile] jadasc and I have confidence that this year Arisia's promise of complementary memebrship will happen. And I have made references last year that I'd help jadasc out. So I feel rather honor bound to run something.

And it seems several of my friends are contemplating running, (head58 and [livejournal.com profile] mgrasso at least. Which gives some impetus for beng there.

But what to run? Most of the stuff I run tends to be rather esoteric and who knows if anyone beyond my circle of friends would be interested?

Maybe, and this is a big maybe, what could happen is something more structured. Maybe tied into the still forming 20x20 con idea.

Actually, I think I'm doing my holiday shopping on Sunday during a window where the mom-in-law will be watching the General. But I would definitely be up for this.

D&D3/3.5 or old skool 1st edition?

I need the new d20 system. Call me crazy.

But [livejournal.com profile] bryant makes a good point, below. He's seems willing to run it, we'll have to wait 'till after the holiday madness is over.
