My library has a new feature, My Reading History, which I find disturbing. Like I want to sign up to make it easier for others to see what I'm reading. I can keep track mself if I care. Luckily librarians are good people and they take pains to spell out the privacy issues.

If the privacy issue wasn't an issue, I'd actually kind of like having this. Bernard Margolis, the president of the Boston Public Library, gave a talk at the Academy last fall that was pretty chilling in terms of libraries and the threats to privacy etc. under the current regime.

Not the same thing, but speaking of libraries, have you seen this (http://www.43folders.com/2005/02/delicious_libra.html)? Never forget who stole your copy of Delta Green again!

Only problem is you're probably not going to get a Mac for your birthday.

Its only for a Mac? How miserable. Who makes products for only macs? I feel cheated.

Margolis has a lot of interesting stuff to say on the issue. I've read a fw articles by him recently.

Yeah, you were right last night. Need to get more active in the library.
