Doing the Lexicon
Feb. 28th, 2005 05:48 pmI’d like to do a Lexicon for tantaene animis caelestibus irae. The goals for this would be to take the source inspiration of GURPS: Cabal and Nephilim and turn it into something zanier and at the same time more coherent. The benefit hopefully being a background of stuff that didn’t involve the players that seems more organic than if I just did it myself.
I’m thinking that we’d do eight rounds (telephone keypad), twice a week (Tuesday and Fridays), same format as Lexicon of the Lost 500 Years, which I think was the most successful of the Nobilis Lexicons.
The general mission statement would be: To provide a fantasy of history that will serve as an inspiration and back-story to much that happens in tantaene animis caelestibus irae, deepening the connections but not taking the place of the unfolding story of the characters.
Now to go and create a wiki on seedwiki, that being the extent of my skill and capability with such things.
Is there any more documents I need to create for people to feel comfortable doing this?
So who’s in?

Either way, I'd also like to see a one-page (or so) "setting bible" that defines just what the source inspiration is, so everyone's on the same page. I didn't realize what the Arcana societies were until last night, for instance.
