Wow. That's pretty sweet right there. But if you set the table with Jack Parsons, John Keel, MK-Ultra, and Candy Jones you'll get me there every time.
(as a tangent probably only of interest to the UA crowd, there was a throwaway mention in "Sex and Rockets" about Parsons and Hubbard trying to create a "moonchild" in the desert with their whole Bablon thing.)
I love Parsons as a mythological figure, but sadly I walked away from Sex & Rockets less entralled. When you add in the little factual details of his life, plus a lot of really insane sounding magic theory he just becomes...sad.
