The Pantellos game on Saturday went well. I didn’t do as good a job with the walk-in characters as I should have.
bryant’s was okay, but
jeffwik suffered for it, and I’m really feeling sheepish about that.
It took
kingfloyd,
peaseblossom and Susan a bit to get into their characters but once they did the conversations were golden.
I still have problems with combat and hard action scenes. Peaseblossom also complained I was too cautious in my presentation. It’s a problem in a roleplaying game where a player’s senses are usually derived from the GM. If they GM is cautious the player ends up being cautious, and Jess resented that a bit.
Great ending. It really tied up loose ends for the game. After it imploded due to scheduling issues I always regretted not being able to wrap things up. This session did that, while elaving the game open for other things within the Pantellos universe, even with some of the same characters if desired. A very LeCarre ending.
