Every time someone says "I really liked The DaVinci Code," I drug them and sterilize them against their will, so they cannot breed.

I'd seen about the lawsuit before. Amazed it is still going forward.

My wife's parents liked it, and she turned out ok, so I think that's a little drastic.

[livejournal.com profile] chrislehrich, who has the fascinating priviledge of being the only person I know with a phD in the area, had an interesting point l;ast night when he pointed out that there is a huge difference between being inspired by and just writing a character into an existing book. Which he felt the Da Vinci Code had done. Personally I never got beyond the first chapter so I don't know for sure.

The gossip about Biagent and Leigh was what really fascinated me.
